How to Maintain Satisfied Customers

When Sam Walton first opened up Wal-Mart, he did it because he wanted to create a store that everyone could go to get everything they need. He wanted a “one stop shop” so he created one. Business was rough in the beginning. However he knew one business truth that helped him become one of the most successful business owners in the world. Sam Walton knew that in a business, “There is only one boss: the customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else."

Walton knew the importance of customer satisfaction. If you’re not happy with a business, what do you do? You take your business somewhere else and tell all your friends how horrible that company treated you. You don’t waste your time with a business that treats you like crap. You find a company that understands that the customer deserves to be listened to and respected.

So how can you maintain satisfied customers in your business?

Step one: Realize that without your customers, you have no business. If you know this, then everything else will fall into place.

Step two: Use customer satisfaction survey software. Customer satisfaction surveys allow you to monitor how your customers feel about your business. It lets them tell you what they like and dislike, and what you need to change or improve to make them happy. Customer satisfaction surveys also give your customers the ability to add their testimonials about your product or service. Testimonials give consumers who are new to your site the privilege of seeing what previous customers have to say about your business. It is free, quality advertising.

Step three: Act quickly on any of the negative survey information provided by customers. If a customer tells you your products are too expensive, do your best to lower costs or revise your pricing structure and thank them for their input. If the customer says your employees were rude, reprimand and train your employees to provide excellent customer service. Then compensate the customer for having received poor service. Using customer survey software will only helps your business if you act upon what the customers tell you.

If you want to maintain satisfied customers, start by understanding how important consumers are to your company and act upon their thoughts and opinions. If you do this, your customer loyalty will increase just like Sam Walton’s did.

Building Positive Customer Relationships through Happy Employees

What do you think is the most important aspect in running a successful business?
Is it the profit? Is it the quality of the products? Is it the advanced marketing techniques? Or could it be the number of loyal customers acquired through the relationships forged with happy employees? Most successful businesses excel at all of the above.

Gordon Bethune, with Continental Airlines, spoke about the success of their company and all others. He said, “I like to think that a lot of managers and executives trying to solve problems miss the forest for the trees by forgetting to look at their people -- not at how much more they can get from their people or how they can more effectively manage their people. I think they need to look a little more closely at what it's like for their employees to come into work every day."

What he points out as potentially being the most important aspect of a successful business is the inter-connected, intra-personal/social relationship among company leaders, their subordinates and their customers.

A business will not continue to generate income without loyal customers. And loyal customers are created just as much by the value of the product as by the high level of personalized, professional service they receive – if not more so.

Customer loyalty should be every business’ ultimate goal. When your customers become loyal to your business, they will spend their money with you, hence generating larger, more consistent profits. Your employees are the face of your company. They are the people the customers see, talk to, and get their products from. Your employees should all feel happy when coming to work everyday so that they will spread their positive attitudes, energy and knowledge about the product and company to your customers.

Reviewing your company’s positive customer relationships can be done easily by utilizing customer satisfaction survey software for honest ratings and reviews. Customer relationship software helps you understand how loyal your customers are and how well your happy employees have treated them. It allows you to know what changes you need to make in order to improve your customer relations and sustain customer loyalty.

Customer Satisfaction Training Session

In this customer satisfaction training session you will learn specific tools that will help increase your company’s customer satisfaction. Please keep an open mind and a willingness to adapt what you learn to improve your business with these key customer satisfaction tips that will help you make more money, more often.

Keeping Customers Satisfied is one of the most important strategies of successful companies. The CEO of Amazon.com Jeff Bezos held, “We see our customers as invited guests to a party and we are the hosts. It’s our job every day to make every important aspect of the customer experience a little bit better.” This brings us to tip number one on how to improve your customer satisfaction.

1. Think of your customers as guests. If you think of and treat your customers as more than just business consumers, but as guests to an event you are hosting, then they will sense this and feel more important to your company. This will also ensure that you and your company are taking care of your customers in a more professional and sincere manner, which increases your customer satisfaction, customer loyalty rate and financial profit.

2. Listen to your guests at the party. When you invite someone over, you don’t just talk to them about what you have to offer and what you think is right or wrong. Listen to them and try to understand what is new with them and why they feel and think like they do. As business owners, you should do this same thing with your employees. Ask them what they are looking for, what their goals are and see how you can help them. Make them feel in charge and important. In return they will thank you for listening by providing exceptional service to your customers.

3. Satisfaction is the key. Your customers might not always be completely happy after a visit, but if you follow these key components, your customer satisfaction will increase drastically. Customer Satisfaction Surveys are also one of the best ways to guarantee that your guests are happy with you and your business. They allow you to listen to what they have to say and act upon the critiques they give you which can help you improve your company.

As a business owner it is crucial that you know and understand how to keep your customers satisfied, so remember the three keys in this training session and start increasing your profits with happier customers now.

Review Solutions—Creating an Attitude of Legendary Customer Service

Is your business struggling? Even if your company is doing well, it could be doing better. Every day you should be thinking of ways to improve your customer relations until you obtain customer loyalty with every customer.

You see, customer relations and satisfaction is the one most important elements of a successful business. Sam Walton, the creator of Wal-Mart used this philosophy to the core, and look how successful has he become.  Mr. Walton quoted that “The goal as a company is to have customer service that is not just the best but legendary.” He wanted legendary customer service! Why? Because he knew that without the customer your business is absolutely nothing.

Customer rating and review systems are an efficient way to make your customers happy. They let your customers know that you care about what they have to say, and it indirectly builds rapport with them.
If you already know the importance of customer reviews, but still find yourself lacking in the customer service area, you might want to review these crucial review solutions to help make you and your business more money.
1.
Focus on your customer. When you know your audience, what they like to hear, and how you can relate to them, you will create a bond that will increase your customer loyalty. Reward your customers for participating in your surveys. This shows them that not only do you want to hear what they have to say, but that you are willing to change things based on their relevant imput. Making your customers feel important will make your profits increase. So spend a little to make a lot.

2.       Don’t waste their time. Keep your surveys short, to the point, and vital. Ask questions that you know will help your business grow. If you think you are lacking in an area, ask the customers what they think. Their opinions could take your company to the next level.

3.       When your customers take the time to fill out a review for your business READ IT!!!! Don’t just set it off to the side to do another day. These reviews are a reflection on your business. If your customers aren’t willing to fill out a survey, they probably won’t be willing be buy again from you and they probably won’t refer your company to their friends and family.

The Vice President of British Airways, Donald Porter, said another great statement about customer service that kind of sums everything up. He said, “Customers don’t expect you to be perfect. They do expect you to fix things when they go wrong.” By knowing these review solutions you can fix things when they go wrong and build a business that is going to last for generations. Your company deserves to grow and profit, even in this recession. So make your move; acquire an online customer review survey company to help you make more money more often.

Interacting With Your Customers

Henry Ford, one of the world’s largest business owners said once that “It is not the employer who pays the wages. Employers only handle the money. It is the customer who pays the wages.” As a business owner, how often do we really think about the need for positive customer interaction?
I’m sure that when your business first began, customers were everything. That’s because you needed them to survive. And now, as a company profits more and more and as it grows larger each day, many business owners tend to forget about the importance of our customers and how much we really need them.

According to Mr. Ford, the customer pays the bills. They control the profits and expenses, they market for you by word of mouth, and they decide whether your business will succeed or fail.
Because of this massive yet sometimes forgotten control that customers have on businesses, it’s important to understand how to properly interact with them. If you want your business to succeed, then you must give them what they want – not what you think they want or what you want for them.

Having an unhappy customer is kind of like being a hostage at a bank robbery. Business owners must be calm, collected, and give the customer what he or she wants. Here are some tips for getting out of the situation unscathed.
1.
Find out why they are not happy. Read their body language to tell what mood they are in and how upset they really are. Ask them open-ended questions to get them to explain what is bothering them.
2.      Listen to everything they have to say. When the robber is talking about why he is robbing the bank and what his demands are you do not interrupt him, you simply listen until he feels like he has been heard completely.

3.      When you know what he wants, build rapport with him. Relate to your customers and become a friend that they can trust. Talk to them, listen to them, and ask them what they think would be fair to make it right with them. Sometimes they don’t even want to be reimbursed. Sometimes they just want someone to listen to them.

4.      Try to make accommodations that will satisfy your customers. Often times the customers themselves don’t even know what they want, they only know that they are upset. So reason with them, comfort them, and give them more than what they ask for.

Customer interaction is the foundation upon a successful business. As we learn to interact positively with our customers and make them happy, we will watch our companies make more money, and have more customers to create a growing business. Remember that the customer pays your wages, so make them satisfied.
